Chapter one: It was early in the morning, the sun had just begun to rise over the horizon, and Wolf was walking up a riverbed. He hated doing this, so early in the morning, with the snow still falling from the winter. Every step he took, the snow seemed to melt away in the warm spring sun. He had been walking for what seemed like hours, but it was finally nearing the meeting area. Tiger was there, waiting for him, drinking the clear water from the riverbed. Wolf was nervous, for he knew what was to come. Tiger had promised him a battle, and he knew that Tiger was a formidable opponent. Wolf kept walking, until he was finally at the meeting area. Tiger stood. Wolf could sense the tension in the air. He knew that Tiger was there to fulfil a promise of a battle, and he was not going to let Wolf out of it. The snow crunched beneath his feet with each step he took, a reminder of the frozen world around him. Everything was lit up in a golden hue, with the sun's rays hitting the
